Hello to all my blog lovers out there, hope your well and you didnt miss me too much! i can see the tumble weeds now... I've been a little quiet of late. im a boring bastard!!!! no really life has grabbed my by the goolies this past while and i barley had time to get them back... the festival low down?
We went on a mental festival run all over Europe (my liver is very mad at me), Pink pop holland, which was unreal.. (http://www.pinkpop.nl/page.php?pagID=472) i recommend all festival goers should go to Holland for that one its defo one not to miss. Rock im Park in Germany is a big one too. (http://www.rock-im-park.de/) a little more rock if thats what your looking for but i have to be honest i found the vibe at Pinkpop way better and the Line up was no different. Madness where there too and they came to watch us.. funny Story actually! Most bands when they decide to watch another band have to watch it from the side of stage which is fine unless your us. We have decided to get rid of all the stage monitors because were using in ears so the stage is silent apart from glen and ben... so poor oul madness us and watch me jumping around like a lunatic to air! to nothing.. in their world they thought it was the craziest thing.. but in my world i was hearing us blasting and rockin it.. I can imagine what i looked like now. were huge fans of theirs and got slightly nervous to know thet stood there.. now im just embarrassed to know what they saw.. lol ouch!
Next the Isle Of wight festival!!! (http://www.isleofwightfestival.com/) A huge surprise for us, I cant believe this festival has been kicking around and i haven't been. Its bloody lovely. the Island itself is the perfect setting for a festival. Even on the way over there on the ferry i was blown away by the view. its one of the most chill festivals but i highly recommend that you go.. especially if your from the UK and Ireland. The Isle of wight is on our doorstep you should really check it out.. Beautiful! this is starting to sound like a travel brochure f@£$%k!

Anyhoo amongst all this craziness we are also doing our own concerts and supporting Take that. Croke park was the pinnacle of our careers to date i think. That amount of people knowing our music and singing along was frightening. it just made me scared at how big this has become. who'd a tunk it, our little garage band? its weird because weve just played with them in Glasgow and a few nights in Manchester too and people keep asking me whats it like up there. the only way i think i can explain it is we feel like very normal people in extraordinary situations. were as shocked as you would be for the 1st time but your there to play so you knuckle down so much to make sure you play in bloody time and not to mess up infront of that many people and it passes you. suddenly you realize you forgot to soak it all up because your so concentrated on what your doing. But on croker i said fuck this shit, im enjoying this, so i took my in ears out and just stood there. I may have been straring the audience out of it for 5 mins i don't know but it was enough time for me to look around and all the lads are like! what the fuck Sheehan are ye right or what? those shows are another level sort of shit. Its anywhere between 60 and 90 thousand people. how crazy is that. the shows are going unreal for us. great experience too. And you know what, Take that are some of the nicest guys you will meet. they truely deserve all the success they are getting. we dont judge a band on music alone. we judge them on how they carry themselves through the industry. like are they arsholes or not. well these dude are cool as shit. and their show is the biggest spectacle i've ever seen in my life. you should see this. the crow have been AMAZING - jaysis! Wembley here we come.

Of course our 5 night stand kicked off too. Us playing 5 nights at shepherds bush.. now above all the huge gigs this just trips me out. not one night but 5 nights. we really wanted those nights to be for the audience. it was probably our last string of the intimate shows here in the UK and being that upclose and personal was what it was all about. it seemed to go off without a hitch so i hope you guys who came liked it and left happy!. id hate to leave ye musically blue balled.

So thats where we are at! I hope you guys are all keeping well. weve got Oxygen, U2 and Paul Mc Cartney this month and i dont think my mind can handle all the input! its overload people. you cant keep giving us life changing shows so close together we need time to grow.. f@£$%K that shit!!!!! bring it on...

Much Love see yis on the road!!!!!!

OXYGEN!!!!!! look out weve been playing out of our skin so bring your part wellies!!! see yis there.
