Heya guys,

We want to firstly say a huge thank you to all of you for your unbeatable support over the past 2 years. We simply would have never had a career if it wasn't for you guys giving us the confidence and the chance to persue our dreams.

It has been an unbelievable journey to say the least. One minute we're trying to play music cramped into a shed in the back garden of Mark's Ma's terraced house in Dublin and next minute we're playing to thousands of music lovers in some of the biggest venues around the world. Head spinning stuff it really is…but again none of it would be possible without the love and support from you guys. So for that we are eternally grateful.

It seems like we have been away for a while but I guess I just forgot how big the world is. The Script's success in both here in Ireland and the UK has been replicated in most countries around the world and chasing it has taken us to corners of this earth we thought we would never get to see.

While we always appreciate it (and let’s face it we have been unemployed musicians for WAY more years than working ones, so we honestly live everyday day to the fullest should someone take it away from us :-) this industry is so fickle you can't rest on your laurels and wait for the change. The change really has to come from the heart of the band. The music. The only reason we are all connected. The life blood of who The Script are.

So we decided about 6 months ago to lock ourselves away and do what we do best. Tell the stories of our lives, write and produce it ourselves, so we can't possibly sound like anyone else (we feel most bands that use producers get the producer’s sound and not the band’s).

I think most of you have heard us say it a lot "If we stop writing songs that the public stop connecting to, then were done. Over".

So we're at that point now, ALBUM 2!!!! WTF??? We have honestly given ourselves 100% to this second album and what has come out of it has exceeded my expectations. Once again we feel we have managed to musically say, as accurately as possible, what is going on inside our hearts and minds.

The new album titled ‘Science & Faith’ is now complete and we're happy to say it’s coming out in Ireland on Friday 10th September this year, alongside the first single which is called ‘For The First Time’ released on Friday 3rd September. We are honestly jumping out of our skin to play this music for you guys so hopefully we will meet on the road again at some point. But until then, I hope you get to sit back and enjoy it as much as we have.
